renee & sahali

we had a nice walk today with our friends renee and sahali. renee and i grew up together, went to camp gualala and berkeley high. but we hadn't seen each other in a long time, so it was a great surprise to walk into our birthing class a few months back and see renee and her husband kevin. they had beautiful sahali 2 days after stella was born. today we caught up on our bithing experiences and everything that has happened in these two little ones lives so far. we look forward to more time together!

road trippin'

we just got back from a long weekend road trip down the coast. it was beautiful! we packed up and headed down the 1, passed big sur and took some nice pics and stopped for the night in cambria, where stella got to hang on the beach. the next day we drove to la to visit stella's only living great grand parent, bapa. he gave stella a kiss and she also got to meet her great great aunt bernita, so fun. then we got in the car again and headed to san diego to visit our friends brian, tiffany, vaughn and olive. vaughn was born just a few days after stella and they are already good friends! we were so lucky to have all of vaughn's grand parents around town for the weekend, mama and pop got to go out 3 times without stella! what a great weekend, thanks for hosting us gilson's!

today we had a lactation consultant appointment where we got some great advice and practice with bottle feeding and pumping so we are good to go when i go back to work. amrit, our wonderful consultant said that we should start bottle feeding now so stella is ready and mama is never supposed to give the bottle, its too confusing. so we will have to get some help from pop and friends. after the appointment we went and had lunch at fanny's with the langlois boys and annie, perfect chance to put our bottle practice in effect. thanks brean!

stella is learning to sit and working on head control. yes i know, we have some work to do but we'll get there soon. for now its a nice lean!

we had lots of fun on saturday with all our friends at nick, marie, siena & rocco's house...aka, the silberdini's!

dwell lunch at the ferry building

stella and i went into the city today to see the new dwell offices on kearney and then we all walked to the ferry building for our favorite... delica for lunch! what a nice day, thanks dwellers.
