stella and i went on our first plane ride to minneapolis to visit gen and darren. auntie lulu was nice enough to accompany us on the trip. we had such a great time, it was my first time visiting the midwest and i loved mpls! we got to really enjoy the city and all its summer warmth and beauty. we spent lots of time around the lakes and gen and darren's gorgeous house. and we even hit up stella's fish cafe! thanks for hosting us, we can't wait to come for a visit every summer!

pregnancy progression

i made a little video with all the photos i took of myself throughout my pregnancy. i started taking the photos when i found out i was pregnant for reals and i shot a photo every sunday until i had stella! it was a fun project and i'm glad i stuck with it.

we just got back from a weekend getaway to calistoga. we LOVE calistoga, its where rob and i got married and its the best escape from the fog during the gloomy east bay summer. we ate some great food, soaked in the sun, swam in the pool and went "toodle-lee doo-ing" around town.
